The first Trew Friends blood drive held on July 31, 2009 was a great success, dramatically exceeding our goal of 50 donors!!! Red Cross filled all 72 bags they brought and we still had donors waiting for the opportunity!!! We encouraged first time donors and had with over 55 brave young people line up to give! The room was filled with love, energy and hope.

The fun filled day was created with music, a magician, lots of beautiful food and drinks, t-shirts for the donors and lively volunteers to greet and visit with the donors.
